TONIGHT

TONIGHT

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

i have fallin in love, but remember this is only for the night, tomorrow i will not remember, i am not of the right state of mind, drank more than i know, and tonight, love, you are mine, tomorrow will come soon, lets do this quick, lets give it our all, lets shake this world from within, yes baby, tomorrow i will leave you, but tonight ill be here to hold you tight, so get ready babe, here i come, all night, sleep under the stars, but once the sun brings me back to realization, i shall leave you, im sorry but i was only disoriented and you presented, and i gave, im sorry babe, ill be back tonight..

I dig the brutal honesty. Almost a hint of sorrow and regret. The style and structure create a barrage of thoughts coming to the subject rapid fire. I'm an English teacher- I love this! Well done!

Now if all lovers could be so bold as to be this brutally honest...maybe my heart would still be in one piece... again i love your style!

Taking the playa playa thing to the next level huh? Enjoyed the truthfulness of it. Very sincere and honest even though sometimes people wish they would remember...

Umm well one night stands aren't my cup of tea. this is a great poem explaining how things like this happen. I once had a one night stand that lasted two months two long. That is the kind of thought and feeling I get from this poem.
