REST

REST

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

RUN, run, and run far, let the beat of the drum keep you going, where tongues of fiery lies unfurl, hurling their darts, the only way away is down, and when the howler cries at dawn, you will awaken from slumber, run on the beat of this drum, where the heart will be the engine, pulling us on, way on forward, the chariot will ride us away, taking us home, where we will rest.
