THE MOOSE

THE MOOSE

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

The moose is quite a majestic creature, standing so tall with its antlers reaching to the sky, being on all fours, standing, silent, watching, listinging, waiting, will time erase this creatures existance, or will it enlighten the footsteps taken in its journey, the wisdom of this creature has been seen once before, no man could understand this creature in any way, i know this for i am a man, but it also depends of what definition, you use these words, lable me as on way or another, man, child or boy, so what do i do, when these vissions are so vital to pen, i know not what swimms within me, what is within myself, within this mind, and not know myself so well, of which knows more than i will ever realize, with such a spirit watching over me, ancent in age, so that the hills cant remember its beginning, the vewry birth of this creature is a mystery, this is a question i will never know, so with all my past footsteps, hard times, i'm lead through it all by a guide i will never understand, so i will find a way to keep my love, and lead myself down this path, to the holy grail of my quests, to answer this question, the moose with its majestic formality, rusing up with a sturn, masterful, knowledgefull, peaceful, a loveable stance over all the fields, so the question is

where does this road lead?

I feel as though u wanted to use the moose to show the unimaginable futures and pasts of urself and those around you. I love how you could connect this easily and that it makes me wonder even more than i already have about where i will take myself with everything I can done and would like to do. If i didn't understand this poem well would you mind explaining what you meant?

i saw a moose once when i was in minnesota, theyre so big, almost like a horse with antlers. " so that the hills cant remember its beginning," wonderful words here. very well done

Tis a very deep piece of prose. The moose holds much power in the domain of large animals and it's energy runs within your ink. I like the feel of the piece, for it brings many questions into one's mind.

The ultimate question? I know where, with a Moose, it shouldn't lead. Never honk at moose crossing your path, they will see it as a challenge and charge.

Great Ink! Watch your spelling..

You have some really descriptive words that are good and really boasted the rating for mooses for me. Keep up the work.

I must say, I wouldn't have been able to turn a moose into such an interesting piece of writing! Excellent work!
