WHY I NEED YOU

WHY I NEED YOU

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

looking at this world, one feels such oddness about it, why this is noone will know, why everyone is so different, no one will know, but why critisize, no real reason is there, im not out to get anyone, i mearly live to tell the tale, so why are you judging others by race, religeon, or richness, or wrongfulness, there is no reasoning is there, no, so why should i bend to your ways, for there is no reason is there, why must my grass be cut to what i must see, why, why, why, three times in this row, i dont know, why should i know, or why should you, not know, i am me, i am you, for without me there would never be a you, and without you, the world would be gone.

This write contains a lot of unanswered questions, not only from the writer's mind, but from the world's as well .. questions like 'why everyone is so different', 'why criticize' etc .. and these are absurd things that people continue to do, but still living together. I really doubt that one day criticism will cease completely, or people will become more reasonable , but we can hope for a new future if people change their mindset. This write tells it all. Nice one.

i think i like the ending best, the idea of existential dependence. or better said, interdependence between the elements of this world. everyone and everything is a link in a bigger chain.

acceptance and tolerance is something it seems the world will never be filled with. for every one of us that can accept other no matter their differences, there are at least ten others that hate people for being different. this poem was pretty deep and i enjoyed reading it

As soon as one why is answered three more will spring up. I don't think the world will ever get along and accept the differences in others. Even if we are all the same people will poke at the differences because the differences take them outside of their comfort zones. It is a control issue more than anything else.

Your poem hits on many universal principals we are all connected on this earth and to this earth. Very good poem :)

very nice. you touch on inherent understandings. your words inspire thoughts of consummation in "creation" according to my understanding. i find it neat how the conflict inspires depth of reaction.

I have to say...I really like this piece of work! It may have been a bit confusing at first, but I go it all in the end.
