ODE TO THE WOLF

ODE TO THE WOLF

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

when i close my eyes, ill tell you what i see, a world where theres silence, a world of the beginning and the end, when the moon goes over our eyes, when the wolves howl in the night, oh you dog sitting outside in the cold, please silence such sounds when im beginning my sleep, the next day will come soon, and i shall get the sleep of the heavens, and i shall rest, for once, let that wolf be, let it run off into the distance, goodbye old wolf, you will be missed.

Wolf...pretty wolf...I miss the wolf! Anyways, I like it. I actually got a picture of a caramel brown with black streaks wolf howling at the moon, then taking off into the distance, running, chasing, almost racing the moon for the next destination.
