FAR TOO LATE

FAR TOO LATE

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

FAR TOO LATE

I saw her standing in the corner
when the lights dimmed.

Red cheeks with a crooked smile
spoke deadly temptation.

She stood there and  danced
as the lights drifted through the shadows.

I wanted to build up courage
but i know the time would be a waste.

I had been far too late...

Very feeling and engaging. I was lost in the poem for a time. Very feeling, thirsting for more and more. Beautifully written, don't stop writing, please.

Nicely written. Good imagery and intense feelings shared. I live it! ~Sharon
