booms and pitter-patters

"

This was written when I was in 4th grade, and I'm currently in 9th. So many great memories that inspired this poem. I hope you enjoy.

"

Rain drops as big as buses appearing out of the atmosphere high above

It’s so foggy you can barely see the lightning, But you can hear the thunder, Clear as day.

It was time.

I took my chances of running in the rain.

Laughter and shrieks coming from deep inside me.

Every crash of thunder made me jump with fright.

Why where the rain drops so big?

The clouds must have been holding the rain back for a LONG time.

Cars kept rushing by my street.

Booms and Pitter-Patters.
