Suzie knew her killer.A Story by Brett PritchardA piece that's been cooking in my head for ages, been dying to write it. Please, let me know what you think!
Suzie met her killer early one April morning while jogging in the park near to her home. It felt very much like a chance meeting to Suzie, who had never seen her killer before and she jogged in the park everyday. However, Suzie’s killer had in fact been watching Suzie for some weeks. Viewing her from a distance with his binoculars, Suzie’s killer had planned meticulously to bring about their “chance meeting”. Not actually a jogger himself, Suzie’s killer had gone to considerable expense to purchase appropriate clothing and foot wear to carry the illusion of the meeting off. Suzie immediately liked her killer. They had continued jogging together that day, and Suzie had given her telephone number to her killer. Thoroughly enjoying the meeting, Suzie had text her killer that evening and they had arranged to meet up for a date. Suzie very much looked forward to seeing her killer again. Meeting up some two nights later, the pair dined at a local restaurant before heading to the cinema for a movie, activities which Suzie’s killer had found particularly tedious not really being a big eater or a film buff. Nevertheless Suzie’s killer had complied with her wishes, as it was very important to him that he get into her affections if he was to get closer to her physically. The perseverance paid off handsomely, that evening Suzie invited her killer into her home, and after the consumption of much alcohol and the carrying out of the necessary rituals, Suzie allowed her killer to make love to her. Suzie was dizzyingly in love with her killer. There was nothing she would not do for him, and this he knew and took advantage of often. However Suzie’s killer did not love Suzie, somehow never being satisfied with what he got. Sexual congress with Suzie had been her killer’s initial aim and he had achieved that often now. However Suzie’s killer could not find contentment in his raging heart and mind and came to resent Suzie violently as she occupied Suzie’s killer’s every waking moment and thought. The obsession grew into something hideous and malignant. Suzie began to become unhappy with her killer. Her killer’s unhealthy obsession and warped conglomeration of attraction and resentment for her was starting to disturb Suzie greatly, and so she decided that she would not see her killer again. Suzie’s killer was heart broken and maddened, taking an over dose of pain killers Suzie’s killer would have died had Suzie not gotten her killer to a hospital and saved her killers life. Choosing to remain by the side of her killer, years passed with Suzie growing dark and hollow within. Her killer’s obsessions and wickedness never ceased, growing in their ferocity and frequency with each passing day. Suzie grew desperate and frantic. She could not leave and get away with it. Suzie knew her killer. And so instead, Suzie chose to allow her killer to think that all was well, until one bleak November morning she laced her breakfast and her killer’s breakfast with deadly rat poison… Suzie’s killer had killed her already, and without her he would surely die. Better for them to go together, that was the only way it must be. After all, Suzie knew her killer…..
