Other Night

Other Night

A Poem by Brett Hernan

And…

Had

it been,

By chance,

alone

The small,

grey

Pippi

shell

Had,

from his,

shirt

breast-pocket,

dropped,

and landed,

at the

back

of her

bookcase

to there,

remain,

unfound,

unseen.

Until,

later on.

On some

other,

Other

night?
