Morning Showers

Morning Showers

A Poem by Brett Hernan

Every morning
in the shower
she fingered
secret messages.

Transmit
by mist
and glass,
to him.

Despite
his death.

Sad, haunting and so tender. True love transcends death. Stark form, lines- add to impact. Lulls us for a minute then Flows to the end with a shock. Well-done!
