Ibid, Morbid

Ibid, Morbid

A Poem by Brett Hernan
"

A statement of fact. Most devoid of tact.

"

It is
a well

Known,
historically,

Proven
rule,

Amongst
some,

American
Law
Enforcement
Officers,

(the most senior,
Detectives
of
Homicide),*

that,
after
every,

Incredible..!

Enormous...

Hurricane..!

Human
remains

are always
discovered,

Previously,
hidden,

put
there,

By serial,
killers.

Uncovered,
by

The
abrasive power
of

The wind,
and,
the rain.

Fully,

under
Control.

Usually,

A larger group
of people,

than the
total
number,

Of those
lost,

During
the storm.

* and also now,
even, every
junior officer.
Having read this,
observantly.
