It All Just So

It All Just So

A Poem by Brett Hernan
"

Inspired by the film, 'Miss Bala'.

"

One
poor kid,
per hour,
every day

Killed

In the
fight,
over

Who is
Going

to
Have

One,
or more

Of those
Twenty five
thousand million

US dollars,
on offer,
supplied,

By customers,
already
wealthy.

People,
physically living

The reality
of a refugee's
daydream

So many die
clutching for.

The Kings buy
the drugs,

To try,
and make

it all,
Just so,

Very much,

That
little,

tiny
bit,

Better.
