Inventions They'll Never Make

Inventions They'll Never Make

A Poem by Brett Hernan

Long distance
night vision stealth
nostril diameter measurer.

Inflatable, glow-in-the-dark,
miniature transport zeppelins,
(interior lit), with propulsion treadmill
for small breed dogs,
(chihuahua, etc).

Ocean bed anchored
plastic coated steel grid fields
attached dynamos connected
to steel cables holding
semi submerged half
wet sand filled
two liter bottles, kept perpetually bobbing
by the constant wave trough
movements on the surface.

Moonlight fueled
roses which grow
from either end
of an horizontal branch
connected to
a vertical stem.

Wind-up clockwork
cars and motorcycles.

Touch plate affixed to the
back battery cover of mobile telephone
allowing the user
to move a cursor
around the screen
with the finger of the hand
which holds the device.

Electric flea
grader/counter.

Weights machine
for facial
muscle development.

A completely automated
autonomous system
allowing industry and agriculture
to serve mankind
who, as a result, have
every need catered for
without cost
and nothing
but free time.
