Dear (INSERT NAME HERE), I am writing this just to let you know that I saw what you did and that I feel sorry for what happened to you and for the error that you made.
The reason I write, is so that you know that there is someone out there who understands that people make mistakes and I am one who won't hold it against you. I felt you should know this, even if I am only a stranger
In fact, to be honest, I hate that I even did feel that way toward you. If you had not been made the center of spectacle, like that, then I might not have ever thought about your case in any other way than just as, purely piteous that such a thing to happen could ever have portion to stand upon the earth.
I think I needed this right now. This was a rather unique poem. Simple yet beautiful.
understanding a persons reason for their behaviour to me a key to finding happiness in ourself within.
The reason I could relate to this was because it made me aware of how I sometimes let hate grow inside me when someone does something to annoy me or infuriate me.
This poem kinda taught me to think of a persons behaviour and find reasons. And that sort of brings peace inself.
Thank you for writing this Brett

As a father, I have equally dealt out (and been dealt to), a lot angst in the form you mention but I haven't been terribly successful at resolving the resulting conflict so it's something, having now experienced the loss which can from such situations arising that I also, needed to say in the form of a poetic memorandum.
Mind you, taken to extremes, it cold see a serial killer living in your backyard in a caravan... but we won't go there.
