No Note

No Note

A Poem by Brett Hernan

No noise

Thought,
it rang

Strange noises,

Climb outside.

Scaffolding jargon

Ebb-tide,

'No' note

No-one knew.

Where ever
you went

Run-away? Lost love? Suicide? Quietly gone with "No note"- haunting, disturbing, powerful imagery " climb outside" scaffolding jargon" "ebb tide". Dark mystery- " No-one knew". Well-penned!
