a society
has
a gun
proliferation problem
when all
toy guns
are required,
by
law,
to have
bright,
orange,
plastic tips
at
the end
of
their barrels
to
prevent
the police
from
firing
upon
children,
again.

Thank you kindly, again, Annette, for your encouraging words.
The reason I chose the title was partly because some hypodermic insulin syringes often used for the injection of drugs are commonly equipped with a piece of orange plastic sheathing around the actual spiked tip of the needle (I think?) and the prohibition, illegality and illicit sale (therefore) for high prices of these drugs, within the confines of an effectively 'lawless' system of drug distribution where the rule of violence and the gun prevails, is also, as you would, so awfully, know, a major contributing cause of gun shot deaths in the USA.

You are so welcome Brett. Orange safety caps on the needles, yes. Very sad situation- guns, violence, drugs, corruption, apathy...death. Death seems to be the only conclusion.
