Toy Guns

Toy Guns

A Poem by Brett Hernan

Military technologies,
allowed
access
by the general
public
for
mass-consumption
as
mass-produced
domestic items,
(such as
drones),
validate,
by this method
their common use,
to kill,
even,
when utilised
in
such
a prejudiced,
prejudicial
and extra
judicially
a manner
as to be employed
to mass-murder
entire clans
(usually at family gatherings)
which is,
effectively,
hocking one up
and
spitting
it right
on to
the faces
and
on to
the memory
of
every
person
who
ever
died in battle,
Allied
or
civilian,
in order
to guarantee
the Nazis
were charged,
under law,
stood trial,
and faced,
Justice.

Utilising this,
socially familiarising mode,
the adoption
of these technologies
by the military
to commit
brutal
atrocities
is,
therefore,
conditioned into society,
to be
considered
both
socially-acceptable
and
normal.
