A Poem by Brett Hernan

Papers filled by things that matter

forgotten phone call

that never happened

just ask my brother, sir

tinker nailer auto sky

rhythm cicada jet Hawaii

hotel windy three star ghost

Captain Morgan iceberg toast

who matters most?

what length is rope?

twice white line ticker flickers by

unmarked cars

one stop before your destination

replies that succumb to hesitation

what's to come

what day is it?

autograph photograph

horse's bit

umpteen times

your ticket please

all singing dancing electric fleas

amidst yourself

no more can go

sweltering heat

abandoned snow

moustache and cheese

lost note

end of the line
