Storm

Storm

A Poem by Brett Hernan
"

I had a cassette tape recording of 'The Doors' which got twisted over so that it still played but when it did, everything Jim said was reversed. When I understood I wrote this transcript.

"

Back sprawl
Ceiling fall tonight
All flash wall open
Fall you all
Pain day, afraid paid
Two sticks drink constricts
You do mouth sound
Scream shout
Surprise
Walk about
Goodbye love
Love alive
Through soon
You time
Burn learn
Curse hearse
Friends inside
Pride lie
Forget
Get know yourself
Get know me.
Mighty high
Down
Life
Untouchable
Love me away
Feel real tears
Lay for bore
Day pain afraid
Paid
Yea alright yea
Me me along life
Wide mind soul
Time bush show
Go shows stone
MTV need knees
Pleas mould soul
Gold hold MTV
Please then the
Letter men
Gentle men
Regret us then

Plus, I'll bet Big Jim was fully aware that this was what he was singing backwards.
