Death by any other Name

Death by any other Name

A Poem by Karasu Valentine
"

A poem for him.

"
I wonder where you are my love.
And if you are thinking of me as I do of you so often.
And if so what of me lies in your mind?
I wonder about weather you are breathing.
And if so is each breath filled with air or smoke.
And is there blood on you?
And is any of it yours my love?
Or does it belong to another.
I wonder about when we will next talk.
The fleeting moments when I can hear you.
And know even just for a moment you are alright.
I pray to whomever will listen for your safety.
And I cry each second we are apart.
My love please return to me safely.
Please stand by me yet again.
I need you with me for alone I am but a weak child.
But with you I can be a strong women.
I can be the women I'd always wanted to be.
My love are you reading this?
Do you think these same things?
Or is this all been in vain my love.
And was our last "I love you" our final one.
Are you...
