No Goodbye

No Goodbye

A Poem by Brenda Thornlow

I wish I knew what to say

I wish I knew what to think

One day you were here and the next gone

No warning and no goodbye

I wish I knew where I went wrong or if I did any wrong

For those brief few seconds you helped me believe in myself

Helped me feel that I deserved more

Then one day you were gone

No warning and no goodbye

Not sure of the circumstances of this poem so I’ll tread carefully so you don’t get too upset
I loved it that I’ll tell you !!
It could be someone dying or just leaving you or just gone missing suddenly
Whatever it is take comfort that there’s a time for everything
I’m 61 taken me a long long long time like a few years ago to learn this
There’s a season for every reason what or why for in our life
I liked your poem a lot it was short simple and had a lot of feeling
