Rainbows and Stars

Rainbows and Stars

A Poem by Brenden Bow

Crazy rainbow stars, embrace this crazy rainbow star.
You see them hanging in the dark blue.
They see us twinkling, not knowing what will ensue.
Dearest rainbow stars: so near, yet so far.
Dearest rainbow stars, your lights may dull, but your color will be up to par.
Dance with the rainbow star. If you ask for them, they shan't elude.
Go with them, you see what the doves and ravens do - follow suit.
Crazy rainbow stars, show us your colors from wherever we are.
In the twilight of the dark,
always trust those old rainbow stars.
In the dawn of the morning,
always watch the little horned lark.
When you're depressed, look through my lens, not to a bar.
Just look up, their coats of many colors will shine on you without warning.
