The Blues' WaterA Poem by Brenden BowThis poem has to do with a group, Blue Outfit, within my newest novel.
Did
she not know the plague’s waters groped the city?
Did she not see the hyper-storm wash her heart-pieces out, to sea, into the swamps, and where the dragon be? In the misleading Los Sin Alma’s waters, at the deepest depths of their watery world, where no ghost dare bothers, Deviancy lived - and he was so blue he could shout. As each fool fell to fodder, the Veil’s veil whipped here, there, blowing about. © 2012 Brenden Bow |
