I want stories

I want stories I know I'll never have

The stories I wish I knew

Tied down by countless odds

I know I'm only alive by the intake of breathe

I know I'm only here by the weight of the world I feel

In my mind I can see all the things I could never be

and there aren't enough words to set me free

From this feeling I'm getting of catastrophe

Destroy my heart and I will feel

All the things I can't ever heal

Watch the days go by as the sun and moon rise

Those two things are the only ways I rely

Never tell of another lie

Because we like to pretend things multiply

This is quite lovely. The opening sounds like longing for a feeling you haven't yet felt. What was your inspiration? Keep up the good work!
