Blew away with the wind 

Caressed my face when you left

Left a tear in its midst

Now it rains every day

The world is forever heartless

No mercy 

No guilt

It was only bright for that year 

That year I believed I'd been so blessed

Blessings don't come often for me

Angels don't fall onto the earth

But I knew when I met you 

You were the closest I'd get

What I didn't know

Was how much I'd love you

How much I'd hate you

How torn for you I'd be

But if that feelings mutual

Is what's really been haunting me
