Confessions of an unfaithful heart

Confessions of an unfaithful heart

A Poem by Breeza

You the Omnicient

dwelling     where?

All days spent proskuneo....

I patiently waited for you

in the blistering cold.

until my face fell off.

and all you managed

was to blow out the candle.

Still we wait...like robots

because this "they" say

is part of the process.

Faceless with our nagging emptiness

we continue to sit

like beachside anomalies

begging for an answer.

Night times are filled now

with

anywhere but here

dreams

that multiply like herpes

reminding us of our 'sinful' days.

The ones you love to throw

back at us at every chance.

Fact..

the alienation isnt working.

"You are your own destruction device"

Your boasting kills my ears

ringing with your laughter

and the threat of the fabled second coming.

STRANGER!

Pack up your bread and hipocrisy.

F**k off now.

And swim back to shore......
