Angels fall down

Angels fall down

A Poem by Brianna

White satin wings flow through blue kissed skies
sun sprinkles its light in rays of glowing glitter
white clouds dance in the blowing wind.
White satin wings fly through blue kissed skies.
Grey clouds fog through cracks of blue
sun shines through tattered clouds
grey rain trickles down,
Grey satin wings fly through a broken blue sky
Black clouds consume the shattered blue
sun hides from the clouds hungry stare
dark rain pours.
Black satin wings crush from the draining clouds
white satin wings
fall
down

This is cool. Reminds me of the story of Lucifer. If you could, would you read my poem called Lucifer? And Darkness if you want. Lucifer primarily though because it focuses on the rising of Lucifer. You might like it. And you'd be the first to review one of my writings.
I do really like this though. I love this type of writing, and genre. The whole religious aspect fascinates me, and the views people take on it. I hope you continue writing these because I would love to read them.

I felt like this could be something in a film, on the soundtrack side. I liked it. Reminded me of a few to half a dozen guesses.

in every life there is rain...and it can break our wings and make us fall down...

but the trick is learning to fly into that blue again...

can we get up after we fall?

then we surely would be Angels...even Angels are vulnerable to sin and failure...but it's what they do with it that makes them fly above the rest.

nice images, and the repetition surely works well here.

I liked the write...you incorporate the theme within the lines:

White satin wings flow
white clouds dance
White satin wings fly

Grey clouds fog
grey satin wings flt

Black clouds consume
Black satin wings crush
white satin wings

I was going with the theme and the lines draw you in to those words in the read...

Photo gave life to the poetry. Nice flow of thoughts leading reading to god visions and thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
