ButterflyA Poem by BrennajI wrote him this poem after he asked me to marry him.
Never fall in love with a butterfly
She'll flutter and stop Briefly To kiss your petals To drink nectar from your stem Loving you as the sun Warms her wings You say you want to marry her Enchanted by the way Her delicate kisses Make your petals swell You ask her for forever To which she'll laugh And fly away To the next flower Who will blossom To accept her gentle caresses As she'll perch Letting the sun warm her wings Never fall in love with a butterfly She'll die In captivity © 2013 BrennajAuthor's Note
