Chapter 1-Belladonna

Chapter 1-Belladonna

A Chapter by Breana Seabrooks

"Mother, please. You cannot do this to me." I cry trying to get my mother to understand my point of view.

"I can and I will. Now, leave my presence, or you will become the sacrifice." I never understood how she could be s crude. The woman was pure evil. She wanted me to make my best friend, my sacrifice. She says, "These are the things that happen when you take too long a time to chose a sacrifice."

That was Maximus for you. A goddess with too much power. She was evil. I admired that. I just hated the terms. But I knew that the time would come sooner or later. It was needed in order for her to make her rise and return to enslave the planet Earth at her feet. I knew she was not to be argued with.

I walked off, into my room, only to find out that I was being followed. A small green and brown fuzzy ball rolled across my bedroom floor. It was Sinister, my canopy kitten. I picked her up and placed her on my bed, while I searched for something to wear for today's sacrifice. The first of many.

It seemed like an hour had past before I finally found something. Black, leather tights, with a red trim running down either side. A black and red corset. My black cape, with a blood red underside, and black leather boots. I was set. I flipped the hood of the cape over my had and left the room.
