You Would Know

You Would Know

A Poem by Breana Seabrooks
"

Everyone wants to know too much too soon.

"
If you count the stars
And you get tired,
If you count the snowflakes
Til you get cold,
It is then that you would know.

If you read all day
And still know nothing,
If you sing all day
And you still feel lonely,
It is then that you would know.

If you cry at night
Because you smile all day,
If you can't feel your soul
Because maybe you have none,
It is then that you would know.

If one day you think
And usually you don't,
If you think of death
But are full of life,
It is then that you would know.

I know.
