P.R.I.S.M. (Publicly Revered Intimate Surveillance Management)

P.R.I.S.M. (Publicly Revered Intimate Surveillance Management)

A Poem by Darren Brown
"

We are horrified by our government's invasion of privacy, whilst we frivolously advertize and publicize our every thought and action.

"

Tom doesn’t peep into my window anymore,

nowadays I just strip in front of his.

He is the fly on the wall

and the spider as well.

We are butterflies flinging ourselves into his web,

perplexed and horrified as he lurks towards us.

About
I use poetry as a means to come to a deeper understanding of myself, and the world that I'm a part of. So most of my work is a combination of introspective and extrospective, figuring out how I relate.. more..
