KarmaA Poem by Darren BrownThere is a cruel man who causes much pain and suffering in the life of a woman I love. This is for him, with the story of Jonah and the whale as a metaphor.
So desperate to reach the shores of Tarshish,
a brief reprieve from that which follows you like a contorted shadow in an alleyway and jerks you awake when you try to sleep. But it isn't God my friend, although it's infinitely more damning; guilt will devour you like a black hole and leave you feeling just as empty, and when it spits you out there will be no kikayon tree. It's as inevitable as the sunrise, as inescapable as Alcatraz. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and you're one brick away. © 2014 Darren BrownReviews

So most of my work is a combination of introspective and extrospective, figuring out how I relate.. more..Writing
