A mothers love

A mothers love

A Poem by Breadrun
"

A poem for my mum, totally from the heart

"
The only woman who owns my heart
You are my mother, so clever, so smart

Like the sun approaching east
Its me you did unleash
Into the world, It is untold
The legacy I’ll show

I praise your courage, so divine
Always knowing your in my mind
Showing me the way to be
Standing proud much like a tree

He wasn’t there, my drunken father
But your all I need, past, present and hereafter
You have enough love to show for two
Holding me tight, reading whinny the pooh

You admit you have imperfections
God knows we have suffered tensions
We argue too much
That fact is true
But I love you so much
As I do your stew

You’ve always tried your hardest
Even when I slipped wayside
Your love I surely harnessed
With you by my side

Your illness it does scare me
Your death for sure would tear me
Knowing your pain
Is truly not feign
I’m savouring every day

I hope this poem lets you know
How much your love has made me grow
As I open my soul and let it bare
You are my idol, no one compares
