Determined to End ItA Chapter by TonyThe shivering wind was
persistent enough to seep through the cracks of Rosayan’s wooden shed, and even
though he had his therma-suit on, he still found it uncomfortable. Perhaps
he’ll have to start reading more about insulation because clearly, he didn’t
know enough. The lizaard wasn’t accustomed to this type of climate. He had
lived most of his life under a blazing sun that remained hot all year round.
Rosayan found snow to be uninviting, but he was at a point where he did not have
a choice but to learn how to live with it because he really wanted to maintain
his bases in Russia and Greenland. What’s more, he had learned recently that
sometimes in Canada, there is plenty of snow. From his base in
Greenland, he had watched the results of his tactics with the two remaining
computers that hadn’t frozen yet from the temperature. The micro-cameras in
Smigz and Chickle’s necks had revealed a lot of significant moments. First of
all, he was able to recognize that Chickle had chickened out and fled. Rosayan was
surprised that the b*****d had actually betrayed him. He was left with no other
choice but to order all of his minions that if they happened to come across the
fugitive, they had to kill him or at least report his destination in the
immediate. The worst was that Chickle had known about the camera implanted in
his neck, so after his encounter with the nemusians, he had surgically removed
the micro-camera from his own neck with nothing but Jaw’s sword. Rosayan simply
couldn’t let a free lizaard run loose all over the planet; that would be
unnecessarily dangerous and it would only interfere with his aspirations. It
wasn’t time yet for the earthlings to know that they were getting invaded by
aliens. Smigz had gotten captured
by the Canadian Forces during his senseless assault in the amusement park. It
was exactly for this reason that he had restricted himself from using him
except in last case scenario. He was the strongest of them all, but damn was he
dumb. His reckless acts had caused Rosayan a lot of trouble. Smigz was now all
over North American broadcasting thanks to witnesses having filmed or shot some
parts of the scene. From what he could see on the footage of Smigz’s
micro-camera, the earthlings that had kidnapped him were keeping him alive for
research purposes. Smigz was either paralyzed, asleep or unconscious because he
wasn’t moving at all, but he was definitely alive because Rosayan could hear
his breathing, since the camera was right on his neck. Alas, it didn’t take
long for the scientists to discover the hidden camera so they removed it and
destroyed it shortly afterwards. And yes, they did look fairly uneasy. All of
those humans looked terrified or confused. Because of Smigz, earthlings now
knew that weird s**t was going on. So Jaw died, Chickle
fled, and Smigz got captured. The micro-cameras on Smigz and Chickle were removed,
leaving Rosayan with no idea where they were. Those three Fighters were among
his most powerful beasts and they still stood no chance against the nemusians. All my minions are failures, he thought.
Losing faith towards his own creations, Rosayan decided that it was time to
settle things by himself. He knew exactly where Tony was heading. The boys were
on their way to Val-d’Or. His new jetpack was so fast that if he left right
now, he could catch up to them no problem. The nemusians were the key to world
domination; he couldn’t let them get away. Rosayan maybe had the strongest mind
in the universe, but he also needed the strongest power in the universe, and
that’s where the nemusians would come in handy. With the genes of the two
strongest species of the universe bonded together, there would be nothing to
stop him. He only needed one of the boy’s DNA, and then he could finally kill
them. He would finally grant his late father’s request to end the existence of
Nemus, and ultimately, have the world at his rule. The lizaard king left off
for Canada with a belt around his waist that held his PUG, his compass, his
map, his water bottle, a handgun, a sword and a syringe. © 2019 Tony |
