Retorts on love
A thought whizzed past, along this crowded mind of mine.. a charm that had forth long Been the maker of my shine. -does the charm utter "love? " the heart queries, but I may ask Why does love, a word so curled Been presumed as the bask of all the dazzle in the world ... Is that love that holds life So close, when life seems to cease Is that love that holds a knife So close to heart that seems to crease Why do people fall in love? My heart yearns as all hearts yearn the retorts of the truthful dove Whose feathers, not yet worn Though in their flight, they seem to burn Though with every truth, darn Unto themselves they bring plight O truthful dove,.. Do people fall in love and glow, Like the kite that met the sky, Which when wind did flow, With a broken string, left a child in cry A broken child, left lone So spoke sand, to the lonely heart : "perhaps the kite and sky were meant to be" "perhaps the kite was too dent to see" A few tears shed, the child left And where they stood to be, Later the wind did blow, For, the wind.. a wicked blind sage The kite that flew, oh such hope! Pity, flung to the ocean's rage A moment, the waves did stop And the ocean, calm and kind Later, the waves did throb Torn and tussled, the kite met shore From where, The child had left and the sand was swept For there, Those tears were kept that the child had wept .... O Truthful dove, Is that love that brings irony O truthful dove, Are we blind in this agony? The dove retorts: "dear heart, look around .. Around with wonder Ear the mystical sound .. A spell to fall under Look around, around with wonder The eyes of a mother that gleam at her child, The face of a groom that dream at his bride. The cheeks of a child That beam at a toy. The sky and the sun, The dark and the moon! Is love not that you see? " Love, a luck to adore Love, that takes you to the core Of that what forges a world Without all the bitter cold © 2015 Akshay RajuAuthor's Note
