The Reaper's Chant

I wrote this towards a friend that was in a dark state. He had reapers all over his myspace and he just had a sudden atitude change, so I wrote this to him. He and others liked it... I found it upsetting because of why i wrote it.... but yeah, enjoy.

 

As true as the ocean breeze I stood by you...the ocean waves
crashing at our feet....

The rain paused to let us feel the soft breeze.....

I looked over as you stood there.....

Just staring at the streams of crystals....

I felt a soft kiss touch my lips...and then it went cold......

The clouds grew strong and your heart turned grey......

I fell in....just to see if it was real.....

It was cold and dark....

I looked up through the darkness only to see your already gone.....

You were already taken from me....
The soft sand turned into nails as you walked away.....

The oceans crystal streams turned to blood......

l layed in the ocean...watching the clouds cry and scream....

I felt no tears...and I felt no love....only the cold you gave me stays.....

You open your door and leave it as if it were only a dream.....

But the cold that you feel within yourself...only made it more real.......

The shadows overcame you as the rain grew harder.......

No light to guide you.....you were never meant to be.....

Shadows cover you in a blanket of black.....

All I could do was sit and watch.....

My lips turned to grey and covered in ash......

Your flesh turned to ash.....till only bone remained.....

You did not show your face....you only stared at me........

Your heart faded in with the shackles....

Now only blackness remains......

Sharp steel teared at my skin.......But I only kept staring....

I felt no warmth and no fear.....

Your lips touched mine......

But your heart was already shackled...

You felt no love...you felt no tears... the shackles keeping it in...

I finally felt the warmth before you went away with the soft, grey breeze....

"As true as the ocean breeze I stood by you...the ocean waves crashing at our feet....".....

She kept falling till all that remained was the darkness, and the oceans crystal blood....

Shackles may have replaced your heart......but the chain that was connected, it was never disconected.....it is what keeps ours together.....
