Frustration

Frustration

A Poem by Dreamer

Tears flow like a never-ending stream,
Or they don't flow like a dry well,
When we cry we wish our life was a dream,
But when we don't cry, our anger rings like a bell.

As the tears flow down our faces,
We sob till everything shakes.
As we stride toward familiar faces,
Our cheeks are hot as if they bake.

Near friends we act as though we are fine,
But on the inside we cry and wish to die.
When we are around friends we draw a line,
A line to keep everyone out, then we say goodbye.

We always say we are doing "alright",
Lying is oh so normal and easy.
That "alright" is like a script all we do is recite
But the things we are lying about, are never easy.
