The Perfect Flight

The Perfect Flight

A Poem by Brandy Garrett

The wind is right, we have the power
To sail the two of us ten miles an hour
The balloon's flame shall so furiously drive
With the one I love - I'm so alive
The path on course sets out with the sun
Laughter, inspiration, holding on as one
Floating above the willows it's champagne at three
In Rhyll, England at six ready for tea
At London by eleven dancing to the tunes
Home asleep by two dreaming of balloons

Lyrical, well-crafted, fun to read.

I enjoyed this poem. It is has a romantic flair to it with a happy and peaceful tone. It sounds like so much fun to be in an air balloon.. but truly I would need an experienced pilot to enjoy the experience.

A well written piece..
