TruthA Poem by Brandrosky
I'm not quite the man, at first, you may see.
Others think they know, but they know not me. They say they understand but don't truly comprehend. So often my thoughts do drift toward the end. I'm not always living with my senses here and now. Many times I look to the future wondering when and how. As the day as years continue to twist and bend, I realize, above all else, that life is merely a means to an end. The question of what this end has in store leaves an answer to be sought forever more. Many a time, my intent was just this; But always, the thought of what I may miss. If I'd realized sooner what had always been true, I would've realized, I've been waiting for you. I know not your name. I cannot think of your face. If one thing reigns through, 'tis the power of your grace. All I will need is the first moment we meet to know that naught is too difficult a feat. I know not where or when you'll appear, but it will have worth the wait through each year. Throughout all the worry, pain, and strife, I've discovered this; The truth of life.
