I Dream.

I Dream.

A Poem by Brandon Henson 1990

I dream of a girl, every night,

She's perfect and special,

Such a beauty to hold in my sight.

Her nature is kind with a mischevous streak,

Her smile is flawless, her skin is gorgeous,

But it's always her eyes that make me feel weak.

A hug from her is the greatest gift,

Caring and warm, tender and soft,

For just one i'd tear in time a rift.

Her kisses are like the yummiest sweets,

Soft and sugary, but sometimes spicy like the hottest chilli,

For me they are the greatest of all treats.

I dream of a girl, every day,

She's perfect and special,

"I love you" just doesn't cut it,

So I hope this says it in a special way.

I love the sweet simplicity of this poem. Extremely well crafted, with some cracking imagry and use of words.
