The Catch Of LoveA Poem by Brandon Henson 1990As I dive deeper down, Darker it grows, as the light drowns,
Faster and faster, my kicking gets, Trying to avoid, Loves fishing nets,
And as I hide, amongst the kelp, The catch of Love cries for help
So many caught, dragged astray, Fallen and devoured, As Loves prey.
But every so often, a pearl is found, A rare thing of beauty, True Love begins to mound.
For a moment, the nets break free, Long enough, for you and me to see, Love will not drag us out to sea. © 2011 Brandon Henson 1990Featured Review
