Worth The Risk ? ©A Poem by Brandon Henson 1990O how dangerous love can be...
Dangerous like the rolling waves of the sea Cold is the rain, and the wind is brisk
But isn't true love worth the risk ?
As the clouds begin to fade The rolling waves melt away Gorgeous and perfect You stand in my way And no longer in my chest Does my heart want to stay.
But on the next stormy day...
In the puddles, our children will jump and play Even when the rain is cold and the wind brisk.
I will remember...
True love was definitely worth the risk.
