A Fateful Day. © 02/07/11

A Poem by Brandon Henson 1990

From years gone by to present day

Lifes burdens have always hindered my way

Time and energy wasted to stay

On track, and not float astray.

Until that one fateful day.

A stunning blonde set my mind to play

And realitys edges no more shall fray

Tables have turned, the world no longer grey

Saved from being my own minds prey.

And until the next fateful day.

Forever by your side i shall stay

And should your stress cause you delay

Upon my shoulder your head can lay.

Until our last fateful day.

A beautiful poem of love and thankfulness. When a kind woman take your hand and allow you in. You want the first day to last forever. I like how you made your point in this poem.

Thank you the outstanding poem.
