A Poem by Brandon Henson 1990

You lay amongst a pearl white sea,

of cascading sheet,

your head is rested,

on cosy pillow.

Dawn creeps through our curtains,

soft is the glow caressing your skin,

captivated are my thoughts.

Your face gleams,

with pure serenity and calm,

as you stir and begin to wake,

a sweet smile is set free,

a gentle kiss from those tempting lips,

and as you whisper in my ear,

"Good morning my love".

My heart for you beats certain,

loyal with its purpose clear.
