Writer's BlockA Poem by PHFASCESEver been in a fix? Ideas knocking, but no sense of expression. Pen tapping and trying to write Frustrations building so you end up grabbing a bite. Hopes that a rhythm will go well with the melody in your head The icy currents of that smoothie making your rain numb As if your brain is trapped in an eternal brain freeze The worst part is that the illusion of time annoys you the most Three lines go well You feel so excited But the roller coaster must fall Down goes the poem An irritating itch in the brain I guess it's writer's block © 2016 PHFASCESAuthor's Note
