ElementsA Poem by PHFASCESAir. My greatest of friends. I thank you for the freedom you have bestowed upon me. Although it's metaphorical I still hold that lesson dearly. The air I breath is your greatest gift to me. Your endless supply to ensure I'm fine is your greatest love for me. You projected my voice, Muted my cruel words on the windiest of days Gave life to the trees that beautify our planet, Pollination. Keeping me cool on those hot sunny days. My Obsession. Fire. You kept me warm from birth and still do so. Providing me with light on the darkest of days And keeping me warm on the coldest of days. You blessed me with cuisines that tickled my taste buds and kept my tummy full. Forever lost in your warm embrace. Yet all you ever asked for was a stage to dance on and someone to talk to. Earth. My guide. You keep me grounded. You Show me the path to take. You Help me when I'm angry. You help take away the negative emotions when you show me beautiful places on paths you lead me on to various destinations. You Gave me a foundation to build a home on. You keep me sane. My teacher. Water. You teach me how to live with my emotions. You taught me the concepts of adaptation, the pros and cons of following the flow and that silence projects the loudest voice. The flow of intelligence you demonstrated. I've learnt how to harness my inner strength and draw form my inner power on days I observed you as you quenched my thirst and kept me clean Unconditional love you have all given with very little in return you have asked for. Silently watching over me. Raising and caring for me. God"s gift to our world. My best friends. I'm Grateful.
