Just A DreamA Poem by PHFASCESIt’s on those
lonely early mornings Thoughts of
you complete a lunar cycle in my head The way you
smile and that cute little giggle The one you
make before you do something naughty The soft taste
of your lips The deep feel
of your love The way you
drag me out of bed The touching
and the feeling The love made
before breakfast
The music on The crazy
games and dances Consumed in
blissful laughter Puppy love,
infatuation That’s all
that runs through our veins With the
wining and dining The little
food fights and cute compliments Best friends
yet lovers Imperfections
become perfections
Only to
realise when I actually wake up It all has
never happened Just fragments
of my imagination No smiles in
the morning No love filled
kisses Just an empty feeling
deep down Fooled yet
again by my delusions and desires Another gloomy
day after waking up From a
paradise that was just a dream. © 2015 PHFASCES
