Games With Gods

Games With Gods

A Poem by Light
"

....this is chess...not checkers?

"

June 2011

Casting die on
Alabaster floors
The Devil plays
Bones with God
For lost souls.

Marionette men
Sway like puppets
To the whims of
Immortal children
Forever at play.

Paradises gained
And eternities lost
Futility in volition
When mortals play
Games with Gods
