Death

Death

A Poem by Light
"

Death is a woman!

"

Death (November 2010)

Death stood over me

Slowly blowing

Her soothing breathe

Of life's sweet relief

A gentle wind

From black licorice lips

As each dying kiss

Brings me closer to peace

Macabre in her eyes

As she moans and she sighs

Legs strapped around my waist

As I'm trapped between her thighs

Breath and existence exchanged

For Ecstasy and bliss

As I give life to

Lifelessness

Ahh! Brilliantly written - love the images "black licorice lips" and the last two lines are amazing. I love the rhythm of this and the picture too.

ah, I like this- death in the form of desire.

"Macabre in her eyes
As she moans and she sighs"
are my favorite lines.

I can't get over your rhythm, heh.
