Time Heals

Time Heals

A Poem by Light

They say time
Heals all wounds
But my pox and scars
Mar me with age

It was beauty
Whom marked me
With the wisdom of
Each passing day

Proof of age
In broken skin
My mangled flesh
In gorgeous display

Disfigured men
The signs of the time
A remnant of our
Forgotten days
